CELEBRATING TRADITION TOUR
CELEBRATING TRADITION – 9 Days (8 Nights)
“A Festival and Cultural Tour of Bhutan”
The Celebrating Tradition Tour is an 8-night, 9-day journey, immersing you in the colorful festivals of Bhutan alongside visits to Paro, Thimphu, Phobjikha, Wangdue, and Punakha valleys. These festivals, vibrant expressions of Buddhist culture, allow you to experience the essence of the religion while enjoying the splendid attire, delicious picnics, and lively festivities.
This leisurely-paced tour ensures you have ample time to absorb Bhutan’s rich culture and natural beauty. In early spring, we attend Punakha Tsechu and Punakha Dromchoe, followed by the Talo village festival and the renowned Paro Tsechu festival, where the giant Thangka is unfurled. In autumn, we witness the festivals of Wangdiphodrang, Gangtey, and Thimphu.
The tour also includes visits to historic towns and districts, providing insights into Bhutan’s heritage. Flights and hotels during festival periods tend to book quickly, so early planning is advised. Join us for an exciting journey with a small group of travelers from around the world.
